Moment & Co is a curated party supply and tablescape brand. We design and sell paper plates, napkins, cups, table covers, banners, garlands, favor bags, decorations, and full themed collections for birthdays, holidays, showers, and every celebration in between — plus a holiday subscription box. Our customers are mostly women, who love to host with style and want their tables to feel beautiful, intentional, and effortless.
Our voice is warm, polished, and a little playful — think a stylish friend who always knows how to set a gorgeous table. Every word we publish should make hosting feel inspiring rather than overwhelming.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced SEO copywriter to own the words behind our growing catalog. You'll write product listings and supporting content across both Shopify and Etsy, optimize everything for search, and help our seasonal collections get discovered by the right shoppers at the right time. This starts as a focused product and content role and grows into social and Pinterest support over time.
This is a side project for the owner, so we value someone who is self-directed, organized, and comfortable working from a calendar of seasonal launches with minimal hand-holding.
What You'll Do
Product onboarding & optimization (Shopify and Etsy)
- Write product titles, descriptions, meta titles, and meta descriptions optimized for search and conversion
- Onboard new products across both platforms accurately and on schedule, following our seasonal launch calendar
- Write Etsy listings tailored to Etsy's search and tag system, not just copy-pasted from Shopify
- Maintain consistent brand voice, formatting, and keyword strategy across the full catalog
SEO & keyword strategy
- Conduct keyword research in SEMrush and apply findings to product and blog content
- Identify content gaps and seasonal search opportunities (holidays, themes, milestone birthdays)
- Track keyword performance and refine listings and posts over time
Blog content
- Write SEO-optimized blog posts for The Soirée — hosting guides, party theme roundups, seasonal inspiration, and how-tos
- Align blog topics with seasonal launches and high-opportunity keywords to drive organic traffic to product pages
Social & Pinterest (later phase)
- Write social media captions and Pinterest pin descriptions
- Align caption and pin strategy with SEO and seasonal campaigns
What You'll Bring (Required)
- Proven copywriting experience for e-commerce, with a portfolio of product and/or blog work
- Hands-on experience writing and onboarding listings on both Shopify and Etsy
- Working proficiency with SEMrush for keyword research and content optimization
- Strong grasp of on-page SEO: titles, meta titles, meta descriptions, keyword placement, and search intent
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt to a defined brand voice
- Highly organized and reliable working against a seasonal content calendar with minimal supervision
Nice to Have
- Experience in the party supplies, home, gifting, events, or lifestyle space
- Familiarity with Shopify's product/SEO fields and Etsy's tag and attribute system
- Pinterest SEO and social caption experience
- Comfort with light analytics (Google Analytics, Shopify reports) to measure content performance
