A canvas gingerbread house with the numbers 1 through 24 printed across the bottom and a felt gingerbread man who moves one square closer to Christmas every morning. That’s the whole mechanic of this advent calendar, and it’s why it works for a 3-year-old who can’t be trusted with 24 tiny doors. It hangs 13" x 23" on a ribbon, screen-printed in gingerbread tan with white icing lines, so it reads as Christmas wall decor even in the house with no tree up yet. No chocolate, no refilling, and it goes back in the box on Dec 26 for next year, which makes it a reusable advent calendar in the real sense.
