The plate is deep forest green with a pine and holly border, a red bow at the top, and gold foil berries small enough that you notice them second. That dark ground is what makes these square Christmas paper plates look like actual dinnerware from across the room, which is the point when the rest of the table is a tablecloth and a ham. They’re 10" x 10", full Christmas dinner size, so a plate of turkey and sides or a stack of cookies fits without overhang. The set of 8 handles Christmas Eve, a holiday dinner party, or the one December night when the good china stays in the cabinet.
